About the position

Together with the Radiopharmacy section, we will be about 35 colleagues responsible for extensive production and advanced development of radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostics and radionuclide therapy. We manufacture a wide range of radioactive drugs based on radionuclides with varying half-lives, from short-lived isotopes such as C-11, Ga-68, F-18 to long-lived ones like Lu-177, Zr-89, and Ac-225 etc. You will work in a high-tech and regulatory-driven GMP environment where your ability to understand, troubleshoot, develop processes, and document is central.

In this position, you will primarily work with:

  • development, optimization, and production of synthesis methods and processes for radiolabeled substances
  • automation of processes on various synthesis modules
  • translation and scaling up of syntheses from preclinical to clinical phase in close dialogue with researchers, sponsors, and regulatory functions
  • GMP validation of new radioactive drugs
  • daily production of radiopharmaceuticals for both patients and studies
  • real-time problem solving and deviation management
  • development of new routines, instructions, and GMP-related documentation

We are looking for someone who

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • University or college degree in radiochemistry, pharmaceutical chemistry, organic chemistry, or other relevant education
  • Good knowledge in radiochemistry and/or synthetic chemistry development

Meritorious:

  • Experience in GMP validation, drug manufacturing, and/or synthetic chemistry
  • Familiarity with writing procedures and other instructions in English
  • Preferably a PhD in radiochemistry or a related field
  • Technical skills and interest in working closely with advanced laboratory equipment

Great emphasis is placed on personal qualities including the ability to work effectively in a team environment and contribute to collaboration and cohesion.
